NEWS: The Newly promoted Venerable Justus Mwesigye has Assumed his New priesthood service at Rwancerere Archdeaconry Under the Diocese of Kigezi, in Kahugye Ndorwa West County Kabale District.
Ven. Justus Mwesigye was transferred from Emanuel Church of Uganda Muhanga Parish under Nyabireerema Archdeaconry where he had served for over 3 years since 2021.
Seeing off Ven. Justus Mwesigye from Emanuel COU Mushanga Parish, Ven Can. Turyatunga Manase the Anchedecon of Nyabireerema Archdeaconry appreciated Ven Jastus for doing his roles diligently and changed him to use his new position to bring many people closer to God.
In his simple remark Ven. Justus Mwesigye thanked Christians of Emanuel COU Mahanga Parish for the love, care and support rendered to him and his family during his priesthood at the Parish.
He assured Christian of Emanuel COU Mahanga Parish that he will not for once forget the Parish as it’s the one that saw him to the promotion of his new position
Speaking on behalf of the Government Hon Akampurira Oscar, the Rukiga District Speaker appreciated Ven. Justus Mwesigye for his support for the government programs and for spearheading a campaign of development among Christians
Ven. Justus Mwesigye at Muhanga Parish was replaced with Rev. Jackson Rutosha who was transferred from All saints Church Muhanga where Rev. Jaspar Nyaruhanga who was a chaplain Kantare Secondary School under Kantare Anchedeconary Chaplain
Ven. Justus Mwesigye was handed Rwancerere archdeaconry by Rev Ven. Christopher Masheija who was also transferred to Kantare Archdeaconry to fill the vacant position of the Late Rev Justus Akampurira who passed on in early February this Year.
Anchedecon Justus Mwesigye started his priesthood service in 2012 from Kikungiri Church of Uganda as a deacon, later to Kijuguta Church of Uganda thereafter to All Saints Church Kabale from where he was transferred to Emanuel COU Mahanga Parish.
