NTUNGAMO: The Ntungamo District LC V Chairperson, Hon. Sam Mucunguzi has told the divided Rwentobo-Rwahi Town Council to use a period of two weeks to lay and pass their 2024/2025 financial Year Budget.
The Chairperson campaigned by the Ntungamo district Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Mathias Ndifuna said this on Thursday this week in a reconciliation Council meeting held at the Town Council offices.
The meeting follows the earlier pulling of ropes between the Town council Stakeholders over the appointment of the Town Clark Mr. Joga Bright to Rwentobo-Rwahi Town.
Sam Mucunguzi told the two divided Rwentobo-Rwahi Town Council Heads to leave their own differences outside the council and work for the better Town Council.
Hon. Rwakigoba learnt that the Town Council had not sat Since December last year thus urging them to use the 15 remaining days including the weeks to complete the Town Council budgeting process.
The two divided heads Mayor Hon. Turyasingura Edison (Head of the Political wing) and the Town Clark Mr. Joga Bright (The civil servant) shake hands and pledged to work together to see the Rwentobo-Rwahi Town Council develop.
